Army Parties for Boys & Girls Made Easy

It's time to G.I. Go!

Lots of boys (and some girls!) love the idea of playing armies, they love the fun of G.I. Joe and special forces, and with Laser Tag parties, you can bring that fantasy to life in a safe and fun way.

I remember my son just loved playing with toy guns when he was little. Half his wardrobe was camo. If your child is like him, this party theme is perfect!

Decoration Hints & Tips

Of course, part of the fun is creating lots of interesting props in the backyard. Some other party decoration ideas are green, black, and brown/tan balloons and streamers.

If you have time, why not hit the army disposal or surplus stores for netting, tarps, ammo boxes or other military-themed things?  Or you can hire camo nets from us.

BLOG: HOW TO HOST AN ARMY PARTY

Short answer: Dress for comfort, wear enclosed shoes, and avoid bright colours. If you look like you are ready for a secret mission, you are dressed perfectly!

What to wear on your feet? Wear sturdy, enclosed shoes, such as sneakers, runners, or hiking boots. Don't wear thongs, sandals, or heels.

What clothes to wear at laser tag? Wear loose, comfortable clothing (think: gym gear). This allows you to move, duck, and dive easily. Or how about dressing up? Think: Superhero costumes. After all, cosplay is part of the fun.

What colours to wear at Laser Tag? Don't wear bright colours like white or tangerine. Go with darker colors (such as green or dark grey). This will help you stay hidden. Or consider camouflage to blend into your surroundings. Avoid neon unless you want to be a target!

Want to level it up? Consider painting the kids' faces!

Pro Tip: If you have long hair, tie your hair back so it doesn't block your aim!

Summing up: Dress for stealth and speed.

What to Wear Hints & Tips

We recommend inviting everyone to dress up after all cosplay is fun. You can order a camo face paint set from us (one set should be enough to do everyone at the party).

Most kids nowadays have some sort of camo outfit in their cupboard. If not, hire camo coveralls from us (but remember to let us know your size!) Either way, we recommend everyone wear long pants and covered shoes.

Totally Nackered

Thank You Very Much! The party was a great success all the kids were totally nackered by the end of the day. What a good laugh. Thanks again.

The Icing on the Cake

One of the benefits of organizing a party is that you can choose the cake. If you bake your own or order a cake that fits your theme, such as a Tank Cakes you are sure to delight the crowd. But if you are not a whiz in the kitchen (& let's face it who has the time?) then let the professionals do it.
