Real Chocolate Crackles
Great party food is colourful & yummy
Real Chocolate crackles are a birthday party favourite with kids of all ages.
They're super easy to make and, if you're lucky, there may be a couple left over for adults to enjoy, too.

There are only 4 ingredients!
75g (2½ cups) Coco Pops
90g (1 cup) desiccated coconut
250g chocolate melts or buttons
Sprinkles for decorating

Line 24 cupcake tins with paper baking cups.
Combine the puffed rice and coconut in a large bowl.
Melt the chocolate either in the microwave (following microwave instructions) or on the stovetop. Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir until the chocolate has melted. Remove from the heat.
Pour the melted chocolate over the Coco Pops mixture and, using a wooden spoon, stir gently until evenly combined. Spoon the mixture into the baking cups. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or until set.
Eat & enjoy the party!
The chocolate crackles will keep, stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, for up to 2 weeks. (Though in my house, they never last that long!)
