Choosing Your Party Decorations

Part of the fun is creating lots of interesting props in your backyard.

Consider your colour scheme: silver, dark blue, black, and grey balloons and streamers are great.

If you have time, why not hit the local dollar shop for glow-in-the-dark stars or sparklers for the cake?

Party Food - Yum!

If you want to go all out you might like to consider MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) from army or navy surplus stores. But, to be frank, if you've ever eaten one of these they are not really the best fare for kid's birthday parties.

So instead you might like to create your own "ration packs" with chocolate, crackers, and bottles of water.

Get in Costume

Why not invite everyone to dress up?

After all dressing up is half the fun! Most kids nowadays have some sort of black or blue outfits in their cupboard, some even have the full Darth Vader regalia. And if not, hire camo coveralls from us (but remember to let us know your size!)

Either way, we recommend everyone wear long pants and covered shoes.

The Children had a Great time

Our Carnival has now come and gone, leaving in its wake a large number of very happy young people from around Australia and New Zealand, and a small number of satisfied but tired organisers.
