1. Booking Procedure

Bookings can be made in-store, by phone, or via our chat. When you book, your reservation will initially be tentative in our system. Bookings must be made at least two weeks before your event date to allow proper scheduling. After booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details. Please check it carefully and notify us immediately if anything is incorrect. We can’t be held responsible for errors if you don’t notifiy us.

1.1 Booking Details

We accept bookings up to 12 months in advance, subject to stock availability and our standard Terms & Conditions. Bookings are confirmed once the deposit is paid. We recommend booking at least four weeks ahead to avoid disappointment. For an official tax invoice, just ask! Upon booking, you will be required to agree to these Terms and Conditions. 


1.2 Booking Confirmation & Payment 

 A 50% deposit is required upon booking. The final balance is due 7 days prior to the event date. 

Bookings made within 7 days of the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by phone (Visa, MasterCard, Amex—with surcharge) or direct deposit (allow 2 days for processing). Please email your payment receipt to admin@LaserTag.com.au with your invoice or booking number and surname as reference. Cheques must arrive by the payment due date to allow clearance before the event date.

Purchase orders may be accepted upon request.


2. Postponements 

 Postponements within 48 hours of the event incur a 50% postponement fee.

Postponements made within 8 days but more than 48 hours before the event incur a 20% postponement fee. 

Postponements made more than 8 days in advance incur a $25 processing fee

All postponement requests must be submitted in writing (email or text). If your request is made via phone, you will be sent a new confirmation email.

Only one date change is permitted per booking. Further changes may incur additional admin or rescheduling fees.


3. Cancellations

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 8 days, but more than 48 hours from the event are eligible for a 25% refund (i.e. 75% cancellation fee).

Cancellations made more than 8 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund (i.e. 50% cancellation fee) of the total booking value.


4. Weather-Related Postponements & Cancellations

Postponements/cancellations due to weather will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are only accepted for extreme weather conditions, including: 

 Torrential rain likely to cause flooding at the site or make travel to/from the site unsafe. 

Extreme heat, defined as a forecast over 37°C during the event hours. 

 Light to moderate rain or mild weather is not considered sufficient grounds for postponement or cancellation. We operate rain or shine unless extreme weather applies.



5. No-Show Policy 

Failure to attend or notify us is treated as a cancellation and is non-refundable.

There are no refunds for no-show players during or after your event. All changes to player numbers must be communicated 8 business days or more before your event either via email, phone, or text. Changes are not confirmed without a written confirmation from Laser Tag in a Box.



5. Conduct, Safety and Liability

Laser Tag involves inherent risks. All participants are expected to follow the safety instructions issued by the staff on the day. By booking Laser Tag in a Box, you accept all risks of injury or damage to yourself, participants, or property, whether foreseeable or not. 

A safe site is expected to be provided by the organiser, with any potential safety hazards removed or blocked off prior to the arrival of Laser Tag in a Box staff. In the case where you have not booked inflatables, this includes a sufficient number of hiding places (typically x1.5 the number of players at once). Hiding places can include buildings, large bushes, or thick trees. Ovals and other sports fields are not suitable for laser tag. If the playing area is bushland, we highly recommend that all players wear long pants (covering their ankles) and closed in shoes (such as sneakers or boots).

Participants will be given short breaks as required between games. It is expected that the players and/or the organiser provide means of hydration, especially on hot days.

It is expected the participants will not willfully damage the equipment including the taggers, the inflatables, and the vehicle. Regular wear and tear is covered, but extraordinary damage (such as might be caused by a player jumping onto an inflatable) will be charged to the organiser.


7. Theming and Langauge

Laser Tag in a Box has three "themes" that they use to cater to certain groups. By default the following themes are applied:

Family Friendly "Laser Tag", the taggers make a pew-pew SFX when the trigger is pulled and say "Tagged" & "Deactivated": School Groups for Years 1 - 9, Vacation Cares, Birthday Parties for Ages 6 - 10.

Teen "Laser Tag", the taggers make a bang-bang SFX when the trigger is pulled but still say "Tagged" & "Deactivated": School Groups for Years 10 - 12 (unless played on campus during the school day)

Live Gaming "Battle Royale", the taggers made a shooting noise and say "Hit" & "Kill": Birthday Parties for Ages 11+, Corporate Team Building/Bonding, and Christmas Parties.

If you would like a different theme for your event (or if you are unsure what theme we plan to use), notify Laser Tag in a Box prior to the event.


8. Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Queensland and Australian law. Any disputes must be resolved within this jurisdiction.


9. Amendment of Terms

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to, or remove parts of these terms at any time. Please make sure you check these terms regularly before using our website to stay up to date with any changes. Where possible, we’ll do our best to highlight any major or important updates to you. By continuing to use our website, you’re agreeing to be bound by the latest version of these terms and acknowledging that they set out the rights and responsibilities between you and Laser Tag in a Box.


10. Additional Notes 

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7 business days. 

All changes to bookings are subject to availability and not guaranteed.
