Introducing: eWands

If you've ever played traditional LARP you know that it can be difficult to integrate spell casting. With our technology, it's built into the system!

You can play as:

A FLAME MAGE

This character is all about fire magic! Think of your stereotypical wizard in Dungeons and Dragons. 

• Flame Strike
• Fire Ball
• Armour: Mage Armour

A SORCERER

Using ice/lightning spells, the Sorcerer has the best range of any character! 

• Ice Blast
• Lightning Bolt
• Armour: Protection Ring

A HEALER

The character with the most dynamic gameplay. The healer keeps the rest of the team in the action, but they can also do plenty of damage themselves. 

• Scorch
• Heal / Harm (if you hit a teammate you heal them, if you hit an opponent you damage them!)
• Armour: Gambeson 

Introduce: e-Weapons

Easily integrated with any melee weapon, the device attaches to the wrist.

You can play as:

A MONK

The monk doesn't carry a weapon, instead, they use their prowess to battle other characters. 

• Skilled Punch
• Energy Blast
• Armour: Dodge

A WARRIOR

The main weapon of the warrior is an axe but you can also use a hammer!

• Battle Axe
• Surge Axe
• Armour: Chain Mail

A KNIGHT

And finally, the Knight. Inspired by paladins and medieval knights, this character is the main tank of the team. Great for absorbing damage!

• Sword Smite
• Armour: Plate Mail

Please note: this is a non-contact game, you don't need to physically hit the players. We do still require the use of LARP weapons in case of accidental contact. 

In-Game Upgrades

Within Battlefield QUEST, you'll be able to upgrade your character!

On the field, there will be props called Mystery Boxes. We recommend putting these inside a chest for added theming! 

As a player, you want to seek out these boxes. When you find one, stay nearby (arms reach) and wait up to 10 seconds. In that time you'll hear your device collect an upgrade. 

You will randomly upgrade one of your items (2 weapons, 1 armour). Each of these items has five versions. The rarer the item, the better it is, but the less likely you are to pick it up!

There are five types of rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. 

So how does that work?

Well, imagine you are playing a Knight. You have a sword, a smite (powered-up sword) and plate mail. You start with all Common items. 

When you get to the box, you might pick up a sword upgrade. It's rare! Awesome! Now you have a Rare Sword, Common Smite, and Common Plate Mail.
