5 Things You Need To Know About Renting A Laser Tag Set

There are five questions we get asked regularly at Laser Tag in a Box. Here are the answers to these FAQs.

1. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Did you know you can book online or give us a call to book? All the laser tag gear can be booked online (see www.Lasertag.com.au). Or simple give us a bell and we will book you in, over the phone. The number is "1800 Book Us" (or 1800 266 587).

You can filter by age appropriateness. You can also add fun extras like a game box or inflatables.

Once you find a package you love, click on the size package you'd like. A mini pack where 4 gamers play at once (2 vs 2) is our smallest package. A pack where 12 gamers play (6 vs 6) at once is our most popular choice. But if you have a bigger party planning you can add extras, in increments of 4.

We recommend booking 2-3 weeks before your event.

It is here on the drop-down calendar that you can check the availability of the item you have chosen. Any questions? Give us a call. We are happy to help.

2. HOW DO I KNOW IT WILL SUIT US?

Home Laser Tag Parties are fun for all ages! We have entertained boys and girls for more than 20 years. In fact, we have booked more than 24,300 parties, so we know parties!.

So if you have any questions, simply email fun@lasertag.com.au, we are here to help.

3. WHAT IF THE UNITS GET DAMAGED?

Our laser tag equipment is built tough. In fact, since we manufacture the laser tag equipment right here in Australia we can fix just about anything. That being said in the thousands and thousands of parties we've rented to there have been very few units that needed repairs on return.

We know that our customers really enjoy the opportunity to play with these awesome laser tag phasers, and so they look after them. Of course, nothing is indestructible! But this gear is designed for 10-year-olds having fun!

Tips for avoiding disastrous damage:

  • Don't drag the phasers by the head sensors. This can stretch the cable.
  • Don't submerge the units in water. If they do accidentally get dunked in the pool immediately get them out, turn them off with the key, and towel down with a dry towel.

If a unit is damaged beyond repair you are liable for its replacement cost which is advertised on our web site.

4. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR LASER TAG GEAR FROM?

Laser Tag in a Box is part of the Battlefield Sports group. Battlefield Sports manufactures the laser tag equipment in Brisbane, Australia. Battlefield Sports also exports equipment all over the world.

The equipment is Australian-made and Australian-owned.

5. HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST?

The fun can last and laser with our gear. The batteries come fully charged with up to 16 hours of game time. We do include a battery charger, just in case. But to be honest you probably won't even need it.

The trick is if you are playing with them on Saturday, then TURN THEM OFF WITH THE KEY afterward. Then you can play with them again on Sunday. But if you leave them overnight they will go flat. Any other questions? Just give us a call, or jump on the chat line.
