The taggers use a harmless infrared, like a TV remote, that tags sensors worn by the players.

“When you do a laser tag hire, you can play as long as you like because the batteries come fully charged,” Nicole said. 

Depending on which model you rent, the batteries last between 8 and 16 hours of gameplay.
