Here is a Way to Help Grandparents Connect with the Grandkids

As a grandparent, it can be challenging to connect with your grandkids, especially as they get older. The world-changing fast and so too are your grandkids. It’s not always easy to relate.

Well, here’s a couple of ideas that can help you bring back the fun. Modern kids live a lot of their lives on the internet:
  • playing video games,
  • watching videos (especially on YouTube), or
  • interacting with a vast online community.

Traditional board games might feel a little “old hat” to them.

Laser Tag is the Key

Laser Tag in a Box has brought video games into the real world with a fun, active game that everyone can participate in and enjoy.

If you have a backyard or live near a park, hiring Laser Tag is really great option. Especially if you have your grandkids on a weekend!

“Now that's a party! My grandkids LOVED your gear.  The night before we had a party for 15–20-year-olds - who equally LOVED Battlefield Live!! We had so much fun setting out the course - the Laser Tag accessories worked brilliantly.” – Sonja.

Laser Tag really is a great way to get the entire family involved! From primary school-aged kids to teens to parents & grandparents.

Making memories with your granddaughter or grandson are important. By entertaining and engaging the grandkids you will create memories they'll cherish. But finding something that both you and your teen grandchildren will enjoy can be challenge! So consider renting a laser tag set, it's easier than you think! The laser tag kit is pre-configured so you can literally turn it on with a key and start blasting! Just like a live video game.

Switch Things Up

The traditional Monopoly board game can take several hours to complete. But the card game version runs at a faster pace.

A popular game in our household is a quicker, more enjoyable version of Monopoly known as “Monopoly Deal”.

It’s a fun game that’s normally over in 15-minutes, so you can play round after round.

We got this game years ago, and we still bring it out for family BBQs!

Best Party We've Had

My grandson had been to one at a centre but he wanted to be able to run around. We made our own barriers out of chairs and drop sheets. The best party we have had in 10 years. Strongly recommend it. Absolutely brilliant. For the price of 6 children, it was money well spent. 4 hours of non-stop entertainment.
