Laser Tag is basically high-tech hide-and-seek — so you need plenty of great hiding spots! We believe in supporting what we create, so get your players involved in designing and building your playing area. When they help create it, they’ll be way more invested in the games.
Rule of thumb: one hiding spot per player.
Below are some awesome ideas to help you set up a laser tag arena in your backyard, school campus, or any open space.
Trees are perfect for laser tag! They’re big enough to hide behind and already in place.
If you’ve got a yard or campus with mature trees — especially those with trunks as wide as a person’s head or more — you’re set! Acres of land? Even better.
No trees? Try a small grove of bushes. You can also add other obstacles to mix things up.
Gaming inflatables are perfect for backyards or school ovals. These large, soft play objects create an instant maze for fast, exciting gameplay.
We have three inflatable laser tag sets available for hire. Each set is quick to set up with an electric blower — about 5 minutes per inflatable. Super easy!
Got a jungle gym or treehouse? Throw camo nets over them to create an instant fort! Our nets are 2m x 4m — perfect for draping over almost anything.
No jungle gym? No worries! Stack some cardboard boxes and cover them with camo nets to make a sneaky hideout.
Drape camo nets over playsets, boxes, or any other objects you can find — it instantly creates an awesome camo fort for hours of fun.
Our customers have also used:
Hay bales (great for quick cover!)Barrels
Cardboard Boxes
Small outbuildings
Our inflatables are tough, portable, and rain-resistant — ready for battle! We’ve partnered with Coleman (makers of Esky) to bring you the latest inflatables.
Watch our quick video on how to inflate them.
Remember: air expands in the sun, so don’t over-inflate!
Made from heavy-duty PVC, each inflatable has tie-downs to keep it secure. Note — these aren’t jumping castles, so please don’t jump on them!
Turn your backyard into an instant maze! Kids love playing laser tag around anything they can hide behind.
From suburban backyards to school playgrounds, parents and educators have transformed spaces into everything from Amazon jungles to desert forts.
Even a few leftover cardboard boxes can become an epic battlefield with a little paint and imagination.
Encourage your kids to build their own battlefield — anything goes! The more they help create, the more they’ll love the game.
