For that last four years, IOR Energy have been booking in Laser Tag to entertain their employees + families at their annual fun day.
Each year they book into Colmslie Beach Reserve through the council, allowing them to host their event in the scenic parkland. This park is perfect for family fun days. It has amazing amenities including: a bike track, a boardwalk and beach with access to the Brisbane River, a playground featuring a “pirate ship”, toilet facilities, sit down space, shelters, loads of trees and beautiful gardens, climbing structures, a flying fox, and grassy spaces. It makes for an awesome family fun venue!
Check to see if there’s a similar space near you. Public parks are managed by local council, so make sure to get approval beforehand to use the space for your event.
Each year, they book in a 4-Hour Inflatable Staffed Event. What does this get them?
● A full-service event (available in South-East Queensland) with a team of professional staff setting up laser tag + running the games
● 20 players at once. Rotate through different players throughout the event. Kids can play as much or as little as they choose. Adults get the chance to jump in for a game or two – give it a go, it’s fantastic bonding!
● Pop-maze created from inflatable shapes. Our staff will arrive ahead of your event to construct a temporary laser tag zone. Laser Tag is high-tech hide-and-seek. Hiding spots are essential. This can be achieved with trees or we can bring the hiding spots with us.
● 4 hours of non-stop games. IOR Energy’s fun day lasts for 4 hours. Angelique, the organiser, made sure to book in Laser Tag for the entire time. Our full-service events are flexible to your schedule, whether that’s a 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-hour event, we’ll be there!
This year, AutoGuru jumped on the bandwagon and had an absolutely blast! Based out of Gold Coast, they called in Laser Tag in a Box to run an incredible event.
AutoGuru booked into Cascade Gardens for their event. This park is fabulous because it has plenty of trees to play around. To fill in the space, they AutoGuru also added inflatables to their booking. That way they ensured plenty of hiding spots for their players.
Cascade Gardens features: rainforest walks, picnic tables, a waterfront pathway, playground, flying fox, rock climbing wall, and sensory gardens. It has plenty of parking and an accessible toilet as well!
This year, they book in a 2-Hour Inflatable Staffed Event. What did this get them?
● A full-service event with a team of professional staff setting up laser tag + running the games
● 20 players at once
● Pop-maze created from inflatable shapes.
● 2 hours of non-stop games. Claire, the organiser, booked in AutoGuru for 2-hours of laser tag fun. We ran 8-minute games. This way, anyone who wanted to play didn’t have to wait long!
Because the kids played multiple times, we switched up the style of games we ran during the event to keep things interesting. Our staff ran three game modes over the day:
Team Elimination: a great starter game, the goal is very simple – tag the other team!
Capture and Hold: a target is placed in the middle of the field. Players tag the target to capture it for their team. Their goal is to control the target for the longest.
Free for All: to finish off the event, we ran a few quick games of free for all, a perfect “wind down” game.
We’ve been in this business for a long time. Coca-Cola can attest to that! They booked us multiple times in a row for their team bonding events.
We started working with them as far back as 2009.
That’s right, we’ve been in this game (pun fully intended!) for a long time and that’s why you can trust us to deliver a fantastic event. Just as Coca-Cola trusted us time and time again.
For our first event with them, Coca-Cola booked into one of our locations. Their goal was to have everyone playing at once. They booked in a 3-Hour Private Event at our location. And guess what? We still offer this experience. You can book into our Mt Cotton location at Karingal Scout Camp.
Coca-Cola booked in for:
· A private event at our location, featuring awesome permanent forts, with games run exclusively for your group. Play at your own pace.
● 3-hours overall with breaks in between. For this style of event, everyone plays every game. Because of that, we have breaks built in! At a 2-hour session, expect to play 3 rounds of laser tag (typically 15 minutes each). For a 3-hour session, expect 5 rounds of laser tag.
● 25 players at once everyone participated at the same time. At Mt Cotton we can facilitate a small team of 20, all the way up to a massive group of 200. The biggest event we’ve run had over 300+ concurrent participants. WOW.
● Camo Coveralls for the players. Dressing up is part of the fun! For this activity, you can add on coverall hire. This is fantastic for photos! We have coveralls to suit every size, from small suits for 5-year-olds to large overalls for the tallest of players.
● Tables & Chairs. We can set up additional tables for your event, just let us know in advance how many you’ll need.
In the following years, Coca-Cola booked in a 2-Hour Inflatable Staffed Event instead. What did this get them?

● 2 hours of non-stop games
Much like Coca-Cola, Google has also jumped on the laser tag experience! They booked into one of our locations for a special event.
They opted for a 2-Hour Private Session. For that event they booked:
● A private event at our location
● 2-hours overall with breaks in between
● 100 players at once
● Camo Coveralls for the players
● Tables & Chairs to put down drink bottles, bags, etc.
The amazing thing about mobile Laser Tag is that is works. It’s suitable for all ages. Kids as young as five can join in and have fun; while adults get an amazing thrill when they try it out.
Laser Tag is a drawcard.
Many activities are great for little kids or big kids, but not both. Young children love interacting with character actors, experiencing a petting zoo, or getting their face painted, while older kids quickly grow bored of these activities.
Soon they’re begging for a device and you know you’ve lost them. What was supposed to be a screen-free day for your employees and their families is now just another struggle over screen time
