The thrilling experience also included free glow in the dark face painting in centre. Players arrived throughout the day and signed up for the next available time slot. Then they where taken on a fun-filled sci-fi mission to score as many points as possible for their team.
With Brisbane’s renowned Minipilly play area opposite the laser tag course, it’s the perfect school holiday outing.
For each game, the kids will be divided into roughly two equal-sized teams.
With the “Capture & Hold” game both teams are trying to capture the central “Game Box”. The teams start out of sight of one another. Each game goes for 5 minutes.
The gamers each get a phaser with 5HP. This means that the players need to be tagged 5 times then their phaser will automatically be re-activated. That player needs to go back to their starting base for a reactivation. The kids need to tag each other and tag the Game Box.
When the red team tags the Game Box it flashes red. When the blue team tags the Game Box it flashes blue.
So if the blue team has control of the Game Box for say, 4 minutes, then at the end of the game the system will pause everyone and the Box will flash the winning team’s colour.
